For the Anangu people the moon, or Pira, acts as a guide through the seasons. At Sails in the Desert, Pira is a sun-kissed, poolside setting for casual dining or a relaxed holiday cocktail. Just like a desert oasis, Pira is a welcoming, refreshing respite from an adventure-packed day exploring everything Uluru has to offer (or an afternoon lounging by the pool). Pira’s menu features a selection of shared plates, fresh salads, classic burgers, light meals and tapas, desserts, and refreshing handcrafted cocktails. And for younger explorers, a children’s menu offers a selection of kid-tested favourites that are sure to please.
